Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

Madrid brought together community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to highlight dialogue, diversity and mutual respect. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on intercultural coexistence, religious freedom and respect. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how education can reduce prejudice.

Throughout the gathering, participants addressed themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when rooted in respect for human rights.
